Language services for UK business

Translation, interpreting and localisation that help UK businesses reach new markets and serve multilingual customers.

Last updated

For a business, language is rarely the goal. It is the thing standing between you and a goal: a new export market, a signed supplier contract, a customer who would buy if only the website spoke their language. Prism Linguistics provides translation, interpreting and localisation in more than 300 languages to help UK businesses get past that barrier and on with the work.

We work with companies of every size, from sole traders to FTSE-listed groups. There is no minimum contract. One document, one meeting or a long-term programme: each gets the same care.

Whatever stage you are at

Some businesses come to us with a single job: a contract that needs translating before it is signed, an interpreter for one important meeting. Others are planning a market entry and need a website, marketing material, terms and trade-visit interpreting all pulling in the same direction.

Both are welcome. If you are taking on something larger, we will help you sequence it, so the budget follows the opportunity rather than spreading thin across every language at once. And we build a glossary and translation memory for your business, so your product names and brand terms read the same everywhere, and repeated content is never paid for twice.

Questions people ask

Business sector FAQs

Do you work with small businesses as well as large companies?
Yes. We work with sole traders and small firms as readily as with FTSE-listed companies. There is no minimum contract. If you have one contract to translate or one meeting to interpret, that is a job worth doing well, and we will quote for it just the same.
Can you help us enter a new export market?
Yes. Reaching a new market usually means several things at once: a translated or localised website, marketing material that works in the local language, contracts and terms, and interpreters for meetings and trade visits. We can handle all of it and advise on a sensible order so the spend follows the opportunity.
Can you keep terminology consistent across our projects?
Yes. We build a glossary and translation memory for your business, so your product names, brand terms and standard phrasing are translated the same way every time, across documents, your website and ongoing work. It also keeps costs down, because repeated content is not paid for twice.
Can you support meetings with overseas partners?
Yes. We provide interpreters for negotiations, supplier visits, audits, training and HR meetings, in person or by video. For events with several languages, our conference interpreting service covers simultaneous interpreting and equipment.
