About Our Croatian Services

The Croatian community in the UK is one of the smaller European groups, estimated at around 10,000 people and concentrated in London and the home counties; numbers stayed low partly because Croatian nationals faced work restrictions here until 2018. Our Croatian translation work is largely civil, birth, marriage and academic certificates, for Home Office and UKVI settlement and citizenship applications, alongside court and tribunal documents and transcripts sent for UK ENIC evaluation. We arrange Croatian interpreters for NHS and court settings where needed. Croatian, a South Slavic language written in the Latin alphabet and an official EU language since 2013, is spoken by around five to six million people, most of them in Croatia.
