About Bodmin
Bodmin sits in mid Cornwall and comes under Cornwall Council, the unitary authority for the county. About the Eskimo language
Eskimo is an older cover term for the Inuit and Yupik branches of the Eskimo-Aleut language family; the word itself has fallen out of favour, and the specific language names are now preferred. Inuit varieties form a dialect chain across the Arctic, from Inupiaq in Alaska through Inuktitut in northern Canada to Greenlandic, the official language of Greenland. Yupik languages are spoken in southwestern Alaska and, by a small number of people, in Chukotka in far eastern Siberia. Combined speaker numbers are estimated at around 100,000, with Greenlandic and Inuktitut the strongest. Inuktitut in much of Canada is written in a syllabic script, while Greenlandic and the Alaskan languages use the Latin alphabet.
