Ewe is spoken across south-eastern Ghana and Togo, and Ewe speakers in Britain form part of the wider Ghanaian community, which is concentrated in London, in boroughs such as Southwark, Newham and Lambeth, with smaller numbers elsewhere. Most British Ghanaians speak Akan varieties rather than Ewe, so it is a minority language within that population. Our Ewe work is mostly civil documents, such as birth and marriage certificates, academic transcripts assessed by UK ENIC for study or professional registration, and supporting papers for Home Office and UKVI immigration or asylum cases. Ewe has around five million speakers across Ghana and Togo.
Prism Linguistics provides Ewe translation, interpreting and transcription across the UK in 300+ languages. Whether you need a certified document for the Home Office, a court interpreter, an NHS appointment or a business meeting, our vetted native-speaker linguists are ready to help.
