About Our Hmong Services

The Hmong presence in the UK is very small; unlike the United States, France and Australia, Britain took in few Hmong refugees, and there is no established community or recorded population here. Any Hmong translation work we handle is occasional rather than regular, typically civil or refugee documents and asylum tribunal material for Home Office and UKVI cases, with academic transcripts sent for UK ENIC evaluation where they arise. We can arrange Hmong interpreters for NHS or legal settings when they are needed. Hmong, a strongly tonal language of the Hmong-Mien family spoken across southern China and mainland Southeast Asia, has around 4.5 million speakers worldwide.
