Inuktitut translation services in London

Document translation is mostly handled by email: your file goes to a Inuktitut native translator, the translated version comes back to you in the format you need. So even though this page is about London, location matters less for translation than it does for interpreting: we deliver to clients in London the same way we deliver to clients anywhere else in the UK. The London-specific bit is the local context: if your document is for a London solicitor, a London hospital or a London university, we'll handle the formatting and the accompanying paperwork the way those bodies expect.

Certified Inuktitut translation

For most UK official use in London (UKVI applications, court proceedings, university admissions, registry office work, Home Office cases), certified Inuktitut translation is what's required. We provide that as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead, with the translator's name and our company stamp. Sworn or apostilled formats are available if your receiving body asks for those instead; just tell us at quote stage.

What we translate

How to order a Inuktitut translation in London

Send us the document. We'll come back within an hour during UK office hours with a price and a delivery date. A Inuktitut native translator with the right subject background does the work; a second linguist reviews it; we deliver in the format you asked for. Standard turnaround for a short certificate is normally next working day; longer pieces are quoted with a realistic date.

English to Inuktitut translator (and the other way round) in London

We work in both directions. Customer-facing copy (websites, brochures, ads, emails) is adapted rather than translated word for word, so it reads like it was written in Inuktitut in the first place. Legal, medical and technical documents stay faithful to the source, with formatting matched to the original.

Need a spoken-language interpreter in London too?

If you also need a person in the room (or on the call) to handle spoken conversation, see our Inuktitut interpreter in London page. Same team, same booking flow.

Inuktitut translator FAQs for London

How much does Inuktitut translation cost in London?

It depends on the length of the document, the language pair and how quickly you need it back. Certified work on short certificates is priced per document rather than per word. Send the document through the quote form and we'll give you a fixed price, normally within the hour during UK office hours.

Do I need a certified Inuktitut translation?

For most UK official use (UKVI, courts, universities and registry offices) yes. We provide certified translation as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead. If your receiving body asks for a sworn or apostilled format instead, tell us at quote stage.

How quickly can you translate a Inuktitut document in London?

A short document is normally back the next working day. Larger projects get a realistic delivery date that builds in the second-linguist review. Same-day is sometimes possible for shorter items; tell us the deadline and we'll be straight with you about whether we can hit it.

Can I find a Inuktitut translator near me in London?

Yes. Delivery is by email wherever you are in London, and hard copies go out by Royal Mail Special Delivery if you need one. If you also need someone in the room, we arrange Inuktitut interpreters across London too.

About London

London is the UK capital and one of the most linguistically diverse cities in the world, with hundreds of languages spoken across its boroughs every day. At that scale, language support is woven into how countless organisations operate. Solicitors and legal firms across the city need certified translations for immigration, family and commercial matters. GP surgeries, health centres and clinics book interpreters so patients from every background can be understood, and council services along with local authorities support residents in dozens of languages. Schools and colleges work with multilingual families, and local businesses, from small firms to larger employers, need documents translated for customers and partners around the world. Prism Linguistics provides certified document translation, face-to-face interpreting, and telephone and video interpreting in more than 300 languages. Each assignment is handled by a qualified native-speaker linguist and then reviewed by a second linguist, so accuracy is checked before delivery. All work is confidential and compliant with UK GDPR. We cover every part of London, arranging linguists on site or remotely to suit the setting.

About the Inuktitut language

Inuktitut is an Inuit language of the Eskaleut family, spoken across the Canadian Arctic in Nunavut, Nunavik in northern Quebec, and Nunatsiavut in Labrador. It is often written in a distinctive syllabic script. There is no established Inuktitut-speaking community in the UK, and requests are uncommon. Where the language does arise, the work we handle tends to be civil documents and personal certificates tied to immigration or study applications assessed by the Home Office, the courts or UK ENIC, usually connected to Canada. Counting first and second-language speakers, Inuktitut is used by around 42,000 people.
