Moshi Dagomba Language Services in the UK

About Our Moshi Dagomba Services

Moshi-Dagomba is a name found in some older language lists for the speech of the Dagomba people of northern Ghana, more accurately called Dagbani or Dagbanli. It is a Gur language of the Niger-Congo family, tonal, and closely related to Moore, the language of the Mossi people of Burkina Faso, which is where the Moshi part of the name comes from. Dagbani is spoken by well over a million people, centred on Tamale and the traditional capital Yendi, and it serves as a lingua franca across much of northern Ghana. It is among the Ghanaian languages approved for use in schools and broadcasting, and it is written in the Latin alphabet with a standard orthography. Related languages nearby include Mampruli and Nanuni.

Prism Linguistics provides Moshi Dagomba translation, interpreting and transcription across the UK in 300+ languages. Whether you need a certified document for the Home Office, a court interpreter, an NHS appointment or a business meeting, our vetted native-speaker linguists are ready to help.
