Nepali Language Services in the UK

About Our Nepali Services

Nepali is an Indo-Aryan language written in the Devanagari script and the official language of Nepal. Britain's Nepali community is one of Europe's largest, well over 100,000 people, built on nearly two centuries of Gurkha service in the British Army; the strongest clusters are in the old garrison towns, Aldershot, Farnborough, Folkestone and Ashford, along with Reading, Swindon and the west London boroughs, with students adding to the numbers. The Nepali work we handle runs from Home Office and UKVI settlement and citizenship applications, including Gurkha and family cases, to court and tribunal documents, and school and degree transcripts evaluated by UK ENIC, plus NHS and court interpreting where it fits. Nepali has around 19 million native speakers, and many millions more use it as a second language.

Prism Linguistics provides Nepali translation, interpreting and transcription across the UK in 300+ languages. Whether you need a certified document for the Home Office, a court interpreter, an NHS appointment or a business meeting, our vetted native-speaker linguists are ready to help.
