About the Shangane language
Shangane, also written Shangaan or Changana, belongs to the Tsonga group of Bantu languages spoken across north-eastern South Africa, southern Mozambique and parts of Zimbabwe, where it is recognised under the name Shangani. There is no settled community of speakers in Britain, so requests are rare and generally one-offs: a civil or identity document for a Home Office or UKVI case, an academic transcript assessed by UK ENIC, or interpreting for a single appointment.
