Sindebele translation services in Harrow
Document translation is mostly handled by email: your file goes to a Sindebele native translator, the translated version comes back to you in the format you need. So even though this page is about Harrow, location matters less for translation than it does for interpreting: we deliver to clients in Harrow the same way we deliver to clients anywhere else in the UK. The Harrow-specific bit is the local context: if your document is for a Harrow solicitor, a Harrow hospital or a Harrow university, we'll handle the formatting and the accompanying paperwork the way those bodies expect.
Certified Sindebele translation
For most UK official use in Harrow (UKVI applications, court proceedings, university admissions, registry office work, Home Office cases), certified Sindebele translation is what's required. We provide that as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead, with the translator's name and our company stamp. The UK has no sworn translators, so certification is what UK offices accept. If an office abroad also wants an apostille or a notarised copy, that step is yours or your solicitor's; we can translate documents that already carry one.
What we translate
How to order a Sindebele translation in Harrow
Send us the document. We'll come back within an hour during UK office hours with a price and a delivery date. A Sindebele native translator with the right subject background does the work; a second linguist reviews it; we deliver in the format you asked for. Standard turnaround for a short certificate is normally next working day; longer pieces are quoted with a realistic date.
English to Sindebele translator (and the other way round) in Harrow
We work in both directions. Customer-facing copy (websites, brochures, ads, emails) is adapted rather than translated word for word, so it reads like it was written in Sindebele in the first place. Legal, medical and technical documents stay faithful to the source, with formatting matched to the original.
Need a spoken-language interpreter in Harrow too?
If you also need a person in the room (or on the call) to handle spoken conversation, see our Sindebele interpreter in Harrow page. Same team, same booking flow.

Do I need a certified Sindebele translation?
For most UK official use (UKVI, courts, universities and registry offices) yes. We provide certified translation as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead. About Harrow
Harrow is a borough in north west London, one of the most culturally varied parts of the capital, where many languages are spoken across its neighbourhoods and shopping streets. That everyday diversity means local organisations deal with language differences as a normal part of their work. Solicitors and legal firms, GP surgeries and health centres, council and local authority services, schools and colleges, and local businesses all need to communicate clearly with residents and clients from a wide range of backgrounds. Prism Linguistics provides certified document translation, face-to-face interpreting, and telephone and video interpreting in more than 300 languages. Every assignment is handled by a qualified native-speaker linguist and then reviewed by a second linguist, so the finished work is accurate and reads naturally. We apply UK GDPR and confidentiality standards to all of it, protecting personal and case-sensitive information. Prism covers Harrow and the surrounding parts of north west London, with interpreters available to attend in person or to connect by phone and video when a booking needs to happen fast.

About the Sindebele language
Sindebele, or Northern Ndebele, is the main language of Matabeleland in south-western Zimbabwe, closely related to Zulu. In the UK its speakers are part of the sizeable Zimbabwean community, one of the larger African populations in Britain, well settled in London and cities across England. Because Zimbabwean documents are issued in English, there is little call for Ndebele document translation, so our Sindebele work is almost all interpreting: NHS appointments, court and asylum tribunal hearings, and Home Office interviews for people who are most comfortable in their mother tongue. Sindebele has around 2.6 million speakers, chiefly in Zimbabwe.
