About Ludlow
Ludlow is a market town in south Shropshire, under Shropshire Council. It has a community hospital, Ludlow Hospital, and a sixth-form college, Ludlow College, but its own courts at the Guildhall closed in 2011. Legal work from the town is now dealt with elsewhere in the county, with the Crown Court at Shrewsbury handling the more serious cases and first hearings going through the magistrates' court there.
