Tongan translation services in Ludlow

Document translation is mostly handled by email: your file goes to a Tongan native translator, the translated version comes back to you in the format you need. So even though this page is about Ludlow, location matters less for translation than it does for interpreting: we deliver to clients in Ludlow the same way we deliver to clients anywhere else in the UK. The Ludlow-specific bit is the local context: if your document is for a Ludlow solicitor, a Ludlow hospital or a Ludlow university, we'll handle the formatting and the accompanying paperwork the way those bodies expect.

Certified Tongan translation

For most UK official use in Ludlow (UKVI applications, court proceedings, university admissions, registry office work, Home Office cases), certified Tongan translation is what's required. We provide that as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead, with the translator's name and our company stamp. Sworn or apostilled formats are available if your receiving body asks for those instead; just tell us at quote stage.

What we translate

How to order a Tongan translation in Ludlow

Send us the document. We'll come back within an hour during UK office hours with a price and a delivery date. A Tongan native translator with the right subject background does the work; a second linguist reviews it; we deliver in the format you asked for. Standard turnaround for a short certificate is normally next working day; longer pieces are quoted with a realistic date.

English to Tongan translator (and the other way round) in Ludlow

We work in both directions. Customer-facing copy (websites, brochures, ads, emails) is adapted rather than translated word for word, so it reads like it was written in Tongan in the first place. Legal, medical and technical documents stay faithful to the source, with formatting matched to the original.

Need a spoken-language interpreter in Ludlow too?

If you also need a person in the room (or on the call) to handle spoken conversation, see our Tongan interpreter in Ludlow page. Same team, same booking flow.

Tongan translator FAQs for Ludlow

How much does Tongan translation cost in Ludlow?

It depends on the length of the document, the language pair and how quickly you need it back. Certified work on short certificates is priced per document rather than per word. Send the document through the quote form and we'll give you a fixed price, normally within the hour during UK office hours.

Do I need a certified Tongan translation?

For most UK official use (UKVI, courts, universities and registry offices) yes. We provide certified translation as standard: the translated document plus a signed declaration of accuracy on Prism Linguistics letterhead. If your receiving body asks for a sworn or apostilled format instead, tell us at quote stage.

How quickly can you translate a Tongan document in Ludlow?

A short document is normally back the next working day. Larger projects get a realistic delivery date that builds in the second-linguist review. Same-day is sometimes possible for shorter items; tell us the deadline and we'll be straight with you about whether we can hit it.

Can I find a Tongan translator near me in Ludlow?

Yes. Delivery is by email wherever you are in Ludlow, and hard copies go out by Royal Mail Special Delivery if you need one. If you also need someone in the room, we arrange Tongan interpreters across Ludlow too.

About Ludlow

Ludlow is a market town in south Shropshire, under Shropshire Council. It has a community hospital, Ludlow Hospital, and a sixth-form college, Ludlow College, but its own courts at the Guildhall closed in 2011. Legal work from the town is now dealt with elsewhere in the county, with the Crown Court at Shrewsbury handling the more serious cases and first hearings going through the magistrates' court there. Most of the interpreting and translation work in this area comes through those Shropshire courts and the health services. Ludlow sits close to the Welsh border, and Welsh place names are common across this stretch of country, so Welsh does feature in the wider area. The town itself is not especially diverse, but courts and law firms across Shropshire still call for a range of languages. We are regularly asked for the rarer ones that other agencies cannot readily supply.

About the Tongan language

Tongan is the language of the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific, and its community in the UK is negligible, no more than a scattering of individuals and families with no established centres. Work in Tongan is therefore occasional: civil documents such as birth and marriage certificates for Home Office and UKVI immigration or settlement applications, the odd tribunal paper, and credential evaluation through UK ENIC for study or professional registration. Tongan has around 187,000 speakers, most of them in Tonga with communities in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
