About the Masai language
Maasai, or Maa, is an Eastern Nilotic language spoken by the Maasai people of southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, alongside related groups such as the Samburu. It has essentially no settled community in Britain, and Maasai speakers here are usually part of the wider Kenyan and Tanzanian population, most of whom also use Swahili or English, so genuine Maasai requests are rare.
