Wallisian, or Faka'uvea, is the Polynesian language of Wallis Island in the French Pacific territory of Wallis and Futuna, with many speakers now living in New Caledonia. It has no community in the United Kingdom, so Wallisian requests are effectively unheard of, and anyone from those islands living here would use French day to day. Any work that did arise would most likely be a French-language civil document for an immigration or academic purpose. Wallisian is a small language with somewhere between about 10,000 and 20,000 speakers, counts that are hard to pin down precisely.
Prism Linguistics provides Wallisian translation, interpreting and transcription across the UK in 300+ languages. Whether you need a certified document for the Home Office, a court interpreter, an NHS appointment or a business meeting, our vetted native-speaker linguists are ready to help.
