Bandjabi Language Services in the UK

About Our Bandjabi Services

In Gabon the Nzebi language is also known as Bandjabi, and other spellings include Njebi and Ndzabi. It is a Bantu language of west-central Africa. Its speakers, the Nzebi people, live mainly in the forested south of Gabon, particularly in and around Ngounie province, with a smaller population across the border in the Republic of the Congo; many have also settled in Libreville and other cities. Estimates of speaker numbers vary, with figures upwards of a hundred thousand commonly cited. French is the official language of both countries, so Nzebi is used chiefly in homes, villages and local trade rather than in administration. Where it is written at all, it uses the Latin alphabet.

Prism Linguistics provides Bandjabi translation, interpreting and transcription across the UK in 300+ languages. Whether you need a certified document for the Home Office, a court interpreter, an NHS appointment or a business meeting, our vetted native-speaker linguists are ready to help.
