Face-to-face, phone or video in Brae
For short, urgent conversations in Brae (a GP receptionist call, a doorstep statement, an emergency department triage), telephone Bhojpuri interpreting is on demand and connects within minutes. For longer or more sensitive appointments (a contested hearing, a mental-health assessment, a customer meeting), face-to-face in Brae is worth the extra time it takes to confirm. Video works well when the parties are in different places but eye contact still matters.
How long it takes to confirm in Brae
Telephone Bhojpuri is on demand. Face-to-face appointments in Brae can usually be confirmed within a few hours. Less common Bhojpuri dialects benefit from a day or two's notice; that's normally enough to get you the strongest interpreter rather than the only available one.
How to book or hire a Bhojpuri interpreter in Brae
Send us the date, the venue and the type of appointment. We come back with the interpreter and a price (usually within the hour during UK office hours), and once you confirm, the linguist works the assignment. Pay-as-you-go, monthly invoicing, or to a PO if your accounts team need that.

Our Bhojpuri interpreters in Brae work in both directions, consecutively (most appointments) or simultaneously where the setting calls for it. Bhojpuri interpreting in Brae: FAQs
How much does a Bhojpuri interpreter cost in Brae?
Cost depends on the language, the type of appointment, how long it is and how much notice you can give. There isn't a single hourly figure that's honest across NHS, legal and private work in Brae. Send the basics through the quote form and we'll come back with a price.
How do you pick the right interpreter for my Brae appointment?
We match on three things: subject experience (an NHS booking goes to a Bhojpuri interpreter who has worked in NHS settings, not just any interpreter), Bhojpuri dialect, and availability for your time and place in Brae. If you have a preferred linguist from a previous job, we'll try them first.
Can you cover urgent / same-day Bhojpuri requests in Brae?
Telephone Bhojpuri is on demand. For face-to-face in Brae, same-day is often possible for the more common languages; for less common dialects, give us a day's notice if you can and we'll get you the right person.

About the Bhojpuri language
Bhojpuri belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European family and takes its name from the Bhojpur region of Bihar. Its heartland covers western Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh in India, with a further band of speakers across the Terai plains of southern Nepal. Indian census figures record around 50 million speakers, though many observers believe the true total is higher because some speakers report Hindi instead. The language is written in Devanagari today; an older regional script called Kaithi was once common. Emigration under indenture in the nineteenth century carried Bhojpuri to Mauritius, where it is still spoken, and related varieties fed into Caribbean Hindustani in Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname. A large Bhojpuri film and music industry operates out of northern India.
